As a curriculum specialist I worked with K-12 visual art, dance and theatre teachers providing professional development and curriculum tools. I created curriculum maps, benchmarks, and assessments for the Fine Arts. I was part of the Visual Arts Standards Revision Committee for USOE. It was my pleasure to create the Granite Gallery which showcased the beautiful creative works of both students and teachers. Also, Granite School District is home to many prominent works of art by early Utah artists. It was my pleasure to preserve and restore many of these works and curate these works throughout the district offices and in schools.As an educator, I taught AP Studio Art, Concurrent Enrollment Drawing and Painting at Taylorsville High School. While at Olympus Jr, I taught Art, Peer Leadership, and a reading course. I started my teaching career as a classroom teacher for twelve years.
