Before beginning my teaching career, I worked for ABC TV in Sarasota, Florida. I made a career change to teaching and have taught Science and Math at the Middle and High school levels and multiple leadership, finance, law and cultural classes at the doctoral adult level. I as well worked in Human Resources and have been an elected official in my community. My skills include using technology and running video platforms on Micro Teams and Zoom platforms. Writing grants and securing funding from community sources to assist with funding unfunded educational improvements. Creating and maintaining all class requirements including weekly on-line discussion platforms and class expectations for monthly face-to-face instruction. Using multiple, differentiated learning strategies to enhance a continuous passion for growing in knowledge in both face-to-face and on-line teaching models. Offering an open-door policy for consistent communication and support. Timely and relevant feedback for reliable progression. Presenting at institutions and participating in educational think tank opportunities to keep informed on current educational policies and procedures. Participating in meetings and university committees to support change and educational continuity. I am driven to help people, of all ages, better themselves and their communities.
