Responsible for creating an international program at the University, crafting the strategic internationalization plan and leading an institution-wide task force on globalization from inception to implementation. Supervises and provides budget oversight for all international areas including International Programs, Study Abroad, the American English Program, the Confucius Institute, student and faculty exchanges, faculty-led international programs, and all international student recruitment initiatives. Travels internationally to establish fruitful, revenue-generating relationships, exchanges, and opportunities with other institutions.

Guided and supported the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Education, the College of Professional Studies, the School of Business, and core academic offices under the Division of Academic Affairs. Developed, managed, and reviewed articulation and curricular agreements. Managed and resolved students grievances, reviewed and approved faculty teaching assignments. Led the President’s Faculty Fellows Program. Facilitated the resolution of pending issues and requests from the Division of Academic Affair’s direct reports. Drafted speeches and correspondences for the president and provost.

Supervised the Transfer Resource Center and co-supervised the daily operations of the University Advisement Center for academic advising. Drafted departmental annual reports, goals and objectives, and budget reports. Evaluated transfer student transcripts, coordinated transfer student orientations, transfer student activities and the University Advisement Center open house. Advised transfer students with regard to academic issues. Evaluated the effectiveness of key programs and systems and designed assessment tools and protocols. Collected data to identify key problem areas and make recommendations to improve academic advisement services for students and academic departments. Created a student success program for students on academic probation.
