At EMOTER, I organize medical outreaches to suburban Uganda and take care of our project's sustainability. The scope of my work in this startup is quite broad; my focus is mainly on:- creation of educational materials- coordination of the whole team- onboarding of our new team members- searching for funding options and subsidy opportunities- preparing our newsletter - communication with the media and the donors

- Education of the general public through workshops, webinars, or during festivals on various health topics (such as reproductive health, prevention of oncological and cardiovascular diseases, including breast and testicular cancer prevention and first aid training)- Leading panel discussions and participating in the creation of media campaigns- Training and support of junior lecturers

- Training and leading a group of ten junior lecturers- Their development and care for their satisfaction- Organization of teambuilding events and internal training- Supervision and feedback

As a volunteer at Medici Na Ulici, I provide regular care to people living in the streets, such as:- nursing care and wound dressings- administration of essential over-the-counter drugs- redirecting our clients with more severe health issues to specific specialized clinics

Being a medical student/volunteer during the COVID-19 pandemic allows me to help out in the ICU during various procedures, such as:- primary nursing care, hygiene, positioning- monitoring vital signs, ECG, glycemia, drawing blood, peripheral vein cannulation, urinary catheterization- assisting during central venous or arterial catheterization
