As Carrier Relations Specialist, I was accountable for working closely with various carriers to integrate legacy Sprint carrier contracts into Cogent Communications.Some of my contributions include:➥ Novated ~300 customer contracts as part of the integration effort.➥ Led vendor negotiations to overcome resistance to contract novation and achieve stakeholder buy-in.➥ Partnered with regulatory, legal, finance, and tax teams to analyze contractual clauses and introduce favorable terms. ➥ Renegotiated existing contracts, addendums, and annexes to incorporate changes in market conditions, optimize the network, and address items not included in legacy contracts.➥ Reduced costs to the company and client, limited financial exposure, and ensured compliance with best practice guidelines.➥ Migrated 50K+ customer circuits with zero outages.

Between 2020 and 2023, I supported the divestiture of T-Mobile’s wireline business, positioning it optimally for a profitable sale to Cogent Communications. I provided expertise in International Voice Services (IVS) to Cogent staff, collaborating with internal/external stakeholders to retire the IVS product from T-Mobile and transition to new ownership.Some of my key contributions include:➥ Successfully migrated 250K+ customer circuits to other services providers with zero outages or customer impact. ➥ Approved services and authorized carrier migrations in concert with customers and customer account teams.➥ Orchestrated vendor management activities.➥ Provided guidance to Cogent personnel in legacy Sprint contracts related to colocation sites, transport, access, and customer service.

Between 2014 and 2020, I led a team of 15 project and program managers to manage the Global Routing and IVS lines of business generating $75MM+ in annual revenue and ensure SLA/KPI goals were consistently met.I orchestrated all vendor management efforts and negotiated vendor contracts for international points of presence (PoPs), carrier neutral data centers, access, and transport services.Some of my contributions include:➥ Designed a management tool to automate IVS ordering and service delivery processes. Successfully automated up to 7K customer circuit requests per month.➥ Drove the development of lean, efficient, and scalable standards and procedures for supporting international voice services which are still in use by carriers to this day.➥ Defined clear standards governing the exchange of information between carriers, porting between service providers, and order management practices.➥ Led a suite of improvement initiatives to generate operational efficiencies and optimize the customer experience.➥ Negotiated competitive terms for new international voice contracts with 80+ global vendors.➥ Conducted carrier performance reviews to ensure compliance with contractual commitments.➥ Orchestrated strategic planning sessions with cross-functional teams.➥ Improved contracting practices, international settlement procedures, and overall service quality, resulting in a sustained increase in customer satisfaction. ➥ Represented Sprint in various international forums and global meetings with up to 300 carriers.➥ Built a high-performing team from the ground up; recruited a highly qualified team of top talent, maintaining 100% team member retention.➥ Trained new hires to upskill and elevate team performance.➥ Participated in multiple high-visibility projects; employed a task prioritization matrix to ensure rapid project execution. ➥ Instrumental in the TDM to SIP network optimization project, contributing $200MM+ in annual cost savings.
