Home Based Business

I would like to introduce you to what I know is becoming a time of the future. My children (when young) and I would design our Christmas Cards, I am a card giver for the connection in keeping relationships vital and heartfelt, I also want to keep connected with my business partners, to which I feel keeps me on a personal level. Farmers Market

During the winter months of 2011, I had decided to come up with an idea to work in the Farmers Market around my area to get to know my community and the people in it. But, what would I do? Ureaka! A good cup of coffee in hopes to further the use of a cafe to promote arts as a service to the community. A great idea! I have always loved and supported Farmers Markets any where I lived and now I am doing this. A wonderful time together my family as well. I make the best cup of coffee and repeats," for my Friday night Barista coffee".

From birth to 5th grade, I home schooled both my children who are now in public schools as high achiever academically and athletically. Having years of experience teaching children art, I chose my format (proven and tested), to which I would later feel privileged to design this same format with Pa Cyber School, an opportunity to teach grades 1-12 , together, like the "old Red School House. Each age group would develop their own style and technique then graded for applying what was taught to them. The child would understand it's application, the language of art, and even though they may not have the "talent" (so they verbalized), the concept would begin, as well as to give art history applied for the learning. I taught the neighboring community who wanted their child to learn art and the tri-county area in my studio. Increasing in size I needed to relocate.

While staying true to my businesses, home teaching children and taken care of 2 elderly (that would take me into the "dementia world" another story). life has a way of changing and we as people need coping skills, because times are a changing rapidly, I would find myself living a new life style. However, I would have to go with these changes, to which my husband then 18 years, who was brought up and having years of experience in the restaurant industry, would need to reside. Due to his duall life style, of extravagant's, fraudulence, immature drinking habits and gambling the families future, when the door opened I fled. With absolutely nothing, but 2 children), . Before all that, I too had worked my way through college in the many restaurants and my vest knowledge would try to save this business, but I had to let something go. We did however, served the highest quality in food from the "best" pizza (I ever had, along with it's many recommendations), breakfast, to fish, soups, and the creamiest soft ice cream. Always about the art: I combined this attitude to designing a mural on the exterior walls of the restaurant. I would bring forth, the beauty of the country there, As I would paint a child would stand waiting for ice cream, I allowed them to paint an object. This was a most beautiful painting I dearly loved.

I taught grade 1-12 the language of arts to mostly home schooled children and any one else. To understand the concept of visual arts in any gallery/museum setting, through actual hands on experience, critiquing, and learning what the artist was trying to achieve aesthetically. Giving 40 hours as required

It was there I learned art forms in every media and the love for it's History and figurative studies. My educations was among the finest teachers and devoted peers alike. Forty hours weekly of intense study, as well as, home work with a completed series ending each semester not only written test and papers verifying our studies of Masters works along with our individualism, a show of understanding immaculate accomplished works. Our senior year consisted a concentrated body of work called, Thesis, from physical labor proving our hypothesis, to a hard covered book, to the first of times using a video along with. As hard and stressful as it was I loved every second! Mr. Anthony Rice, if you are out there, I give you the credit as a true heartfelt professional and admiration to perseverance at all times (thank you). It was he and there that I went through hard times and didn't quit in my last year. Left with Honors. We would need to further our academics in an other institution, beginning with S.U. to O.C.C. leaving on the Deans List.
