1. Assigns and dispatches drivers to loads on a first-in, first-out basis, insuring hours of service requirements are met while striving to minimize service failures and bobtail expense as possible. 2. Communicates to driver: pick-up and delivery standards, shipper and consignee locations and any special customer requirements. 3. Monitors driver location status, and provides help and assistance as necessary to protect pick-up and deliver standards. 4.
