Tamara Kachelmeier is an audio engineer, re-recording mixer, producer, composer, director, screenwriter, pianist, vocalist, and singer-songwriter. She has written music that has appeared on the History Channel and CNBC. Tamara has won awards for best film score, best web series, and best music video. She has mixed over 152 films including Chiqui, a film that appeared in the Sundance Film Festival in 2022. She runs her own recording and production studio called Ghost Dog Studio in Brooklyn, NY. Tamara is currently working on a new album that includes myoelectric sensors, artificial intelligence, and neural/physiological data called “You are Here."Tamara received her Master of Fine Arts degree in Media Scoring from Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema and advanced certificate degree in music education from Brooklyn College. She studied voice, piano, audio engineering, music production, sound design, music education, and composition at Brooklyn College, Gustavus Adolphus College, Berklee College of Music, McNally Smith College of Music, MCTC, Full Sail University and the Academy of Art University. She currently runs a music and recording studio in Brooklyn, NY called Ghost Dog Studio and is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Information Technology at Southern New Hampshire University.Tamara has written music that has appeared on the History Channel and CNBC.
