I am a Biomedical Engineering PhD with a passion to improve one's quality of life by bridging scientific research with patient and consumer insight. Through the position of expert witness, I conducted over 100 scientific investigations and analyses of injurious accidents using the principles of physics, biomechanics, and human factors. My graduate research focused in biomechanics and tissue mechanics, and included experience with machine design, mathematical modeling, as well as motion analysis. I also participated in the Milwaukee entrepreneurship and startup community. My colleagues and I were awarded two NSF I-Corps grants in which we conducted qualitative market research to obtain customer insights from over 150 in-person interviews in 11 weeks for research-based assistive technology startup innovator of assistive technology for people with mobility impairments.Health, fitness, and wellness are important aspects of my life. My knowledge of body biomechanics inspires my fitness aspirations, both in my recreational and professional life.
