I am currently in my final year studying English at the University of Nottingham, with a strong interest in building a career in Digital Marketing. To enhance my industry knowledge and experience, I volunteer as a Student Digital Marketer with the university’s Digital Transformations Hub (DTH). In this role, I have developed skills in content planning, editing, and posting across social media platforms, including TikTok, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and Instagram.After a year with the DTH, I was promoted to 'Assistant Marketing Leader', where I am now responsible for:- Scheduling and managing social media posts across multiple platforms.- Designing innovative marketing strategies for the DTH to improve engagement.- Leading market research and analytics efforts to track engagement and performance.- Conducting SWOT analyses to optimise our content strategies.Additionally, I took part in the Digital Marketing Academy, a collaborative program led by the University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University. Through this program, I have gained valuable insights into the marketing industry—particularly in paid media and SEO—through events with prominent agencies, such as Impression and Hallam.
