I am the TARSS project manager at the University of Minnesota’s Center for Education and Development. This project involves supporting the professional ECE trainers and RBPD Specialists across the state of Minnesota. I have a PhD in education and leadership from Drake University and over 20 years of experience in the field. My core competencies include curriculum development, instructional design, assessment, leadership, and communication. I am passionate about preparing future teachers and leaders for the diverse and dynamic field of early childhood education.In addition to my academic role, I also work as a professional development specialist at The Council for Professional Recognition and a professional development network consultant at Teaching Strategies, LLC. Using my observation and Google Meet skills, I provide online training, coaching, and mentoring to early childhood educators across the country. I help them enhance their knowledge, skills, and confidence in implementing effective curriculum, assessment, and instruction practices. My mission is to empower early childhood educators with career development and leadership opportunities that foster their professional growth and impact their students' learning and development.
