As the Inlander's Sales Director I'm responsible for leading The Inlander’s sales operations across a diverse range of products, including the weekly newspaper, glossy magazines, city guides, and a comprehensive suite of digital marketing solutions. This involves developing and executing effective marketing strategies, managing the sales team, and ensuring revenue growth across all platforms. Sales Strategy & Leadership:- Develop and implement sales strategies for The Inlander’s print, digital, and event-based products to meet revenue targets.- Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.- Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, setting clear objectives, tracking performance, and coaching for professional development.Team Management:- Lead and mentor a team of account executives, ensuring high performance and consistent achievement of sales goals.- Foster a collaborative, client-focused culture within the sales department, encouraging innovation and creativity in marketing solutions.- Provide training and development opportunities for the team.Client Relations & Solutions:- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring The Inlander’s sales offerings meet their needs.- Work with the creative and editorial teams to develop custom marketing solutions that align with client objectives and maximize results.- Ensure client satisfaction by overseeing the delivery of quality marketing campaigns and initiatives.Inlander Restaurant Week Oversight:Marketing & Communications- Lead the planning and execution of Inlander Restaurant Week, coordinating with 100+ participating restaurants and key stakeholders.- Develop marketing strategies to increase event visibility and drive participation.
