I also compile notes taken during tutoring sessions and send them to students, so they can reference them whenever needed.

I conducted a research study using Phytospherix, phytoglycogen extracted from sweeet corn, investigating its interactions with common cosmetic ingredietns. I was also able to work on new product development of bio-composite films for skincare applications made with phytoglycogen. I was given some key constraints and criteria and worked within them to develop prototypes for testing and evaluation. This role also gave me the experience of working in Mirexus' production facility making Phytospherix. Additionally, I used my knowledge of company health and safety policies, GMP, and ISO to prepare multiple SOP documents for various procedures followed in the cosmetics lab and preparation of samples for customers.

I helped coworkers when possible to build lasting relationships, including management resulting in a promotion to a department with higher value merchandise.
