A retired AF Warranted Contracting Officer with 21 years of AD and Reserve experience who managed major programs, such as being the CO and negotiator for the F-15 acquisition programs for Israel and Saudi Arabia, and served in policy and training roles at the Pentagon. She served as the VP of Contracts with broad corporate responsibilities for a DoD contractor. Throughout her career, she has participated in and led teams addressing highly complex issues in acquisition. Ms. Mueller has been writing proposals in response to government requirements, many of which are for services and more specifically performance-based acquisitions. In that role, she has been working with Program Managers in writing performance metrics and monitoring them throughout execution. Throughout her career, she has been the Small Business Liaison, providing guidance, advice, and support in promoting small businesses and has worked with several large businesses supporting Mentor Protégé Programs. In both the public and private sector, she has conducted many formal and informal training classes in acquisition as well as mentored many customers in acquisition processes. Ms. Mueller has extensive experience in managing contracts from cradle to grave. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with extensive experience in the planning and execution of all types of contracts. She has been responsible for the oversight and supervision of the activities of project managers, contracts staff, and subcontractors performing substantial work scope.
