Tamara is an Associate General Counsel at OPTrust, working on direct investments, co-investments and fund investments across asset classes. Tamara is also a board member, Vice President and Vice Chair of Justice for Children and Youth, a not-for-profit legal clinic focussed on child and youth advocacy and justice. Prior to OPTrust, Tamara was Partner in Blakes’ corporate and commercial group, with a focus on fund investments and formation, private company mergers and acquisitions, and other complex commercial arrangements and restructurings.Tamara previously completed a secondment at a media and technology company where she acted as in-house counsel, advising on a number of acquisitions and providing practical day-to-day advice. She was also seconded to a foreign investment bank where she was engaged on a variety of corporate and compliance matters.
