Key responsibilities and achievements:* Awarded a contract for seven consecutive series on RTE One’s flagship daytime show.* Managed production crews of up to 50 people. Provided leadership, coaching and direction to crew members to ensure an engaged, motivated and skilled team focused on delivery.* Developed, designed and delivered staff training initiatives for researchers and runners.* Produced over 250 hours of live and pre-recorded television programming, adhering to exacting deadlines and budgets, in busy working environments.* Structured, wrote and delivered over 250 running orders and scripts. * Output programmes from a live studio gallery and coordinated large ‘outside broadcasts’.* Programmes consistently gained a highly competitive audience share (approx. 30%).

This was my second contract (maternity cover) in the same role with UCD Research.Key responsibilities and achievements:* Partnered with the Research Communications Manager in devising and implementing a new strategic approach to digital communications for research at UCD.* Appointed as (acting) Research Communications Manager for the final month of my contract.* UCD’s first impact case study writer; charged with identifying, researching and writing features about the impact of UCD’s most interesting research. These case studies featured in numerous reports and were published through various digital media channels in UCD.* Project Manager on the 2014 Images of Research Competition Exhibition and Prize-Giving Event. Managed all aspects of event planning including budgets, design, print and communications.* Updated social media channels. UCD Research saw a 50% increase in twitter followers between September 2013 and September 2014.

Key Responsibilities and Achievements:* Project Manager on the Institutional Research Report for 2012, a data driven document profiling UCD's performance over the past year.* Project Manager on Faces of Research. Faces of Research is a suite of 20 short films profiling UCD’s leading researchers. There has been significant appreciation from stakeholders including funding agencies, government and the EU Commission, in the effectiveness of these films in communicating the value of research. * Drafted news stories for publication on the UCD Research website and content for internal communications (UCD intranet). * Assisted in the development and design of a new website for UCD Research, launched in 2012.

Majority of programme briefs published on the RTE website and remain in its archive. * Managed shoot schedules/ edit plans/ budgets for the creation of pre-recorded packages.* Identified and secured over €100,000 in sponsorship for prizes.
