I began as a full time lab tech and then switched to a broader position, floating between the lab and the storefront doing retail technical sales when needed.

I was recruited to launch the new studio at the Abbotsford location. I was in charge of a group of employees. I managed hiring, firing, scheduling, and day-to-day operation of the photography studio. I also worked photographing clients as well as consulting with them through to order completion. Several times, I was called on to assist in the photo lab with technical issues because of my previous lab experience.

I managed a team of employees including, hiring, firing, scheduling, training, goal setting, and reviewing progress. I worked within a budget and found ways to encourage staff to outperform other stores in the region. I reported to the regional manager. Half-way through, I managed two locations at one time. Reason for leaving - Western store closures.
