With 20 years of business development experience, Tamara is passionate about collaboration that results in impact-driven solutions. She has extensive experience working with leaders and their teams, helping them clearly identify business goals and aligning them with the people and technologies required to get there. Tamara has guided multiple startups and member companies of North Forge Technology Exchange and New Media Manitoba, and has worked with non-profits, including Beyond Borders ECPAT Canada. A community leader, Tamara sits on the Women’s Enterprise Centre of Manitoba’s Board of Directors and Chairs their Ownership Linkage Committee. She is a startup mentor with North Forge Technology Exchange and has judged the University of Manitoba’s Stu Clark Investment Competition, the Manitoba New Venture Championships, and the Assiniboine Community College Business Plan competition. She has also mentored numerous teams at startup events including the Manitoba Open Innovation Challenge, the Social Innovation Challenge, Tiger’s Den and Startup Winnipeg’s Ramp Up Weekend. Tamara is Google certified in Digital Sales, has her Innovation Engineering Blue Belt and is an ISO Certified Mentor.
