An Accountant for over 20 years and a CPA since 2008 I started my career at KPMG. I was fortunate enough to be introduced to both audit and taxation in the years during GST implementation and the Y2K. I have seen many changes in accounting but none more exciting than what we are currently experiencing today. The explosion of Big Data and the emergence of Business Analytics and Intelligence; Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning have revolutionised the way accountants work. Noticing this trend early on, I have been studying Master of Business Analytics because I want to take my career into the next phase.As an experienced analyst I have the benefit of being able to draw on information from a variety of sources, which enables creative approaches to problem solving. With experience in Business Process Management I recognise the importance of challenging the current process to look for opportunities for continuous improvement.I work to build relationships with open honest communication by treating people with respect, and authenticity. Proving to be quick, efficient and results orientated, I have gained the respect of my peers on all levels.
