CurrentJob Purpose is to perform responsible work in planning, training, organizing, disseminating and communicating information to paraeducators and educational support personnel. Coordinates various other professional development and training activities as needed in the county. Custom Job Purpose: This position exists to perform responsible work in planning, training, organizing, disseminating and communicating ESOL information to all educational school support personnel. Coordinates various other professional development and training activities as needed. Essential Functions of this Job Coordinates the instructional program for schools in order to meet collective bargaining requirements. Ability to organize and implement training for teachers and para educators in effective classroom management and instructional strategies and educational support personnel in district protocol and expectations. Non-Essential Functions of this Job Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Thorough knowledge of existing requirements and programs for non-instructional personnel. Ability to plan, organize and direct activities for educators, paraeducators and educational support personnel (Administration). Ability to prepare records and reports and establish and maintain effective working relationships with various groups of employees as well as the public and School and District administrators. Bilingual/biliterate preferred.
