Auto-Isac Cybersecurity Education And Training LeaderThe Automotive Information Sharing And Analysis Center (Auto-Isac) Aug 2021 - Jul 2023After spending the last 17 years in higher education, I am honored to join the Automotive Information Sharing and Analysis Center (Auto-ISAC). The Auto-ISAC is a non-profit business that enhances the ability of the automotive private sector to prepare for and respond to cyber security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents to reduce their risks and costs associated with operational disruptions due to nefarious cybersecurity events. My role with the Auto-ISAC will be to serve as an advisor regarding training, awareness, and education activities that address current risks and support our long-term strategy. I was b the project manager for the creation of and operation of the Automotive Cybersecurity Training (ACT) program, the implementation of which the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has entrusted to the Auto-ISAC. I was also the staff lead for monthly sessions and other education and awareness activities with the Education and Awareness Standing Committee (ETSC) the Members-Teaching-Members (MTM) sessions and the Cybersecurity Month Awareness annual project.
