I was employed part time as a Participation Officer with AFL Victoria in the Barwon Region. Part of my role is to work in a team environment to deliver Sporting School's and Auskick sessions at various locations around the Geelong and Surf Coast area to increase AFL Participation.Key roles include:- Generating interesting in AFL through the presentation of engaging and enjoyable AFL clinics to a range of youth clientele aged 5-12 years- Increasing youth - particularly female youth participation in AFL throughout the year- Facilitating an increase in overall participation rates in physical activity for youth in the Geelong and Surf Coast region of Victoria- Analysing data and targeting areas in which participation levels are low and focusing on increasing Auskick participation in those areas.
