A corporate geek in the shoes of an entrepreneur. Entertainer 24/7, hard worker 8/5. Crazy about trends, faithful to old values. My career started in the Government of the RS - worked in the cabinet of three ministers in less than three years. Later I moved to Mercator-S, one of the leading retail chains in Serbia, and was in charge of some of the biggest image campaigns. The then-CEO told me: "You know, Tamara, I don't know many companies that would enable you to do all those projects, but to be honest, I don't know many young people who are brave enough to come to ask for them." After I asked all the questions :) I joined Shoppster, the largest e-comm in the region, as a part of the starting lineup. That's where I learned all about the marketplace and e-comm postulates, etsablished a shopping TV channel, was working on regional projects, and formally got an executive position and a team to lead. During all that ''university, government, corporation'' time, when I was asked about my dream job, the answer was always the same "to be an entrepreneur". Probably that's one of the reasons why I was working for each of these companies like they are my very own. And here I am now - in the shoes of an entrepreneur, at the head of the family company, with which I grew up, trying to make it stronger and bigger, to modernize and digitize it. And yet, it moves :)
