Through decades of experience have highly developed stakeholder relationships skills, diplomacy and emotional intelligence to underpin a passion for strategy and systems change at a meta level. On the ground experience in community has strengthened my approach to community development. I am a skilled cross cultural communicator. My knowledge and understanding of Indigenous knowledges and community means I can work two ways to articulate community world views and demystify mainstream policy and processes. Recent work in the field of Trauma Informed Care adds a depth of knowledge which helps to provide an empowering framework for first nations peoples.
