I am a Non-Executive, Deputy Chair, Director and a Senior Property and Real Estate Executive with over two decades of board level experience in the banking and financial services sector, real estate and alternative assets, as well as industrial, retail, commercial and residential property. In an executive capacity, I have over 30 years as a Senior Real Estate Funds Management, Capital Transaction Professional, investment banker and ESG head, specialising in the property sector. I have advised, structured and raised capital for dozens of hundred-million dollar plus projects. I am currently the Senior Director, Strategy & ESG at Barings - responsible for setting and implementing the Australian ESG strategy for Barings, as well as managing and structuring real estate capital and corporate transactions and acquisitions. Previously, I was an Investment Specialist at APN Property Group, where I focused on ESG initiatives driven by impact investment. Earlier, as the Joint Head of Property Funds Management at Investec Bank Australia.At board level, I drive strategic investment decisions by leveraging my knowledge of real estate finance, investment banking, funds management, ESG, responsible investing, change management/restructures, climate change advocacy, capital raising, property development, and stakeholder management. Board / committee highlights include: 100 Women in Construction, Property Council of Australia, MWP Community Aid and as past Deputy Chair at Regional Development Australia (Northern Rivers). Finally, I hold a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting & Finance, I am trained as a Chartered Accountant and am a Graduate of the AICD’s Company Directors Course.
