I started my transportation career in the pipeline operations at Emery Expedite! While in this department I established a firm foundation to my logistics career. Establishing a solid understanding of the industry has given me the ability to provide customers with innovative solutions to their individual needs. While at Emery Expedite! I was given the opportunity to learn many aspect of the industry; tracking and tracing, dispatching, negotiating, and superb customer service skills. During this time I worked on several high profile, time sensitive accounts, such as OTC automotive freight, Red Cross Blood, LAM, and E-Commerce accounts among many others. Transitioning into the Carrier Relations department I further developed my negotiating abilities by recruiting couriers in the U.S and Canada. Among my duties I ensured all TSA regulations were adhered both internally and externally, maintained and audited ISO procedures, and resolved carrier service issues. Wanting more experience in the industry I moved to the ground side of the industry. Hub Group has afforded me the ability to superior customer service and the opportunity to continue to work with a large carrier base. Working closely with the carriers to dispatch and trace shipments in transit allowed me to provide customers with top notch communication without jeopardizing the integrity of service.While at Hub Group I continued my experience moving to Intermodal services.
