Taking my passion for swimming and combining that with my entrepreneurial spirit, I focused on bringing high quality aquatics programming for all ages and abilities to local communities. The company operates in 23 communities, serving 3000 students every summer and employing more than 40 aquatics professionals.Created the company's brand including logo, marketing materials, website www.letswim.com, proposals, HOA newsletter content and company Facebook page. Managed the business development strategy and implementation utilizing HOA BOD contacts, Property Managers and relationships with Pool Management Companies. Developed an original lesson curriculum and instructor training program. Oversaw daily operations including online registration, customer support, on deck staff evaluations and site management. The KIDS FIRST Swim Schools are the world’s largest provider of children’s swimming instruction, operating 33 locations across 5 states, teaching over 150,000 students annually. As Director of Field Operations (DoFO) I am responsible for the daily operations and overall performance of the Kids First Swim Schools corporate locations by developing and implementing successful strategies. Cultivating a culture of success throughout the team to drive success and commitment to the corporate mission. Analyzing financial data and work to maximize revenue and reduce costs. Identifying and targeting areas in which the business can improve operation. As well as analyzing the performance of support functions; T&D, Marketing, Facilities and Admin, and collaborating to perfect.

Part of an elite management team for newly founded Complete Sports Management (CSM), a socially-responsible enterprise, whose focus is to #positivelydisrupt the amateur and youth sports event management ecosystem. Life Time Fitness, the "Healthy Way of Life Company" has 108 clubs in the USA and Canada. Their goal is to retain Members by connecting them to their areas of passion to drive success and reach their personal goals. I was hired to grand open the new Diamond level club and launch the newly created Kids Academy program. As the "GM" for all Kids Memberships, I hired the Management staff to oversee & run all Kids programming including: Aquatics, Child Center, Camps, Birthday Parties and Parent's Night Out. A staff of approximately 135. I was directly responsible for the Kids Academy program that included: hiring all subject matter experts (Yoga, Dance, Karate, Gymnastics, Zumba, Spanish Immersion, Arts & Crafts, School Skills etc), training staff and scheduling programming. Research and Market the programming locally to build awareness and Memberships. I was hired to revitalize a struggling department with the goals of creating outstanding programs that regain the Members confidence, invigorate the staff and create an Artistry level program. Within 6 months, the department was ranked #1 out of 95 clubs nationwide. Holding this spot for six consecutive quarters and winning the coveted Artistry award in Q4 2012 and Q1 2013. During this time I was able to more than double the monthly revenue, bring labor within in budget and increase programming headcount by more that 3.5 times. I partnered with other regional Aquatics Department Heads to find areas of growth and improvement within their clubs. In addition, I was tasked with assisting the Corporate Aquatics team with establishing best practices for the learn to swim program, establishing USA swim teams and defining the Adult programing for the company. I became the face of Life Time Aquatics locally, representing them on the Fox Morning News on a live segment "Keeping Kids Safe Over Summer Break".

As Marketing Manager at Nextlinx Corporation, I was responsible for leading the initiative to re-brand and market the company, its international trade content and software management solutions. This imitative took a multi-pronged approach to reintroduce the company to its current customer base, develop new key partnerships with existing logistics leaders, establish its Executive staff as industry innovators as a way to launch into new untapped markets and set new standards in the international logistics software space. My responsibilities included; Corporate communications, collateral creation, advertising, direct marketing campaigns, trade shows and responding to proposal requests.

I started out my career working for LCC International, the leading provider of Software, Hardware and RF Engineering services for designing, deploying and managing wireless networks throughout the world. I held a variety of positions in Sales and Marketing both in the Corporate office in McLean, VA and the European headquarters in Dusseldorf, Germany. I was instrumental in developing new business in Latin America, Israel and the Eastern European market as well as managing key clients like Telefónica Móviles.
