I am currently a student at Florida State College at Jacksonville working towards my certification as an ophthalmic technician. The ophthalmic technician is a skilled person, qualified by academic and clinical training, who performs ophthalmic procedures under the direction or supervision of the physician licensed to practice medicine and surgery and qualified in ophthalmology. Technicians are prepared to assist an ophthalmologist to diagnose and treat eye disorders and disease; test patient’s far acuity, near acuity, peripheral vision, depth perception and color perception. Under direct supervision the technician will apply drops to anesthetize, dilate or medicate eyes. They will test patient’s field of vision, including central and peripheral vision, for defects, and chart test results.

As a Loan Document Specialist my duties included opening documents received via fax and or email, search for loan numbers in fidelity to route documents to appropriate departments by opening tasks. Assist in researching and sorting foreclosure documents to ensure active foreclosure and no duplicate tasks are created before scanning.

As a Lien Analyst, we identified senior lien holders and obtained status of the loan; obtained senior lien payoffs; and tracked senior lien foreclosure. Researched and analyzed public record data. Updated and monitored records in proprietary software database. Interfaced with client companies and third party providers.
