👋 Kia ora! I'm Tamara, big advocate for making work feel less shit. I've got a tonne of experience in government, tech, and startups, and through many good and certainly many bad experiences, I've found my calling: creating workplaces that are regenerative and developing great leaders for the future. 🚀 What do I do? By day, I'm leading the team at Bloom HQ, a business I co-founded to help businesses do better by their people, their communities and the planet. We're on a mission to sprinkle a little bit of magic, courage and self-awareness into workplaces, making them places of inclusivity, wellbeing, high performance and genuine career growth. I also am the Chair of the Board of Trustees at Inspiring Stories, a charity who support young New Zealanders to connect, be inspired, build capability, and take action to make a difference for our future. From creating solutions for climate and community resilience, to mental health and wellbeing, to building the next generation of impact-driven businesses. 🎨 Creative Side Quests: During one of my personal epic quests (a.k.a. a tough time with my mental health), I crafted The Wellbeing Deck. It's not your average card game; it's a conversation starter, a taboo breaker, and a personal guide to understanding what wellbeing really means to you.
