I'm a sustainability director with 20 years of experience, specializing in setting and achieving goals for carbon, energy, waste, and water reduction.In my current role as the global Sustainability Director at Leggett & Platt, I support our global operations and leadership teams with implementation of sustainability and ESG policies, programs, and initiatives. I work with cross-functional teams and leadership to:- develop sustainability and ESG strategy and long-range plans- identify solutions to achieve decarbonization goals- gather and measure our environmental footprint, including greenhouse gas emissions- support alignment with key ESG frameworks- comply with ESG related regulations- implement site sustainability initiatives that support corporate sustainability objectives; and,- identify opportunities to improve product sustainability across our supply chain.Prior to my current position, I developed resources and conducted planning studies to support resilient and sustainable communities in North Texas. I graduated from Texas Christian University with an Environmental Science degree, providing a solid foundation in science and data analysis, while my Masters in City and Regional Planning provided a firm grasp of sustainable community development and policy. Over the span of my career at NCTCOG, I developed expertise in environmental justice, transportation planning, compatible development around military installations, energy, waste management, water, and emission reduction strategies.In my time off, I enjoy camping, hiking, and experiencing new places and cultures with my family.
