I am a passionate benefits administration and management professional with extensive success coaching and developing insurance benefits professionals and educating employees. As a benefits professional, I have extensive knowledge about group insurance benefits, including but not limited to self-funded plans, voluntary benefits, life insurance, disability coverage, claims processing, and pharmacy benefits. I have planned and successfully completed open enrollment periods. I mentor insurance benefits analysts on how to educate members about the various products and ensure enrollments processed align with the Affordable Care Act and plan document guidelines.During my managerial career, I have received recognition for improving quality and exceeding metrics across customer service teams by implementing a consultative and strategic approach to achieving results. I’d get ahead of issues, eliminate obstacles for team success, and continuously research for new methods to enhance employee performance and provide exceptional customer experiences. Additionally, I have successfully managed programs for attendance, educating employees on FMLA and Leaves of Absence, and performance, training customer service teams on soft skills, and strategies for meeting and exceeding key performance indicators.
