Political scientist specializing in European and Latin American affairs, I combine strong academic expertise with diverse experience serving local authorities. Holding a PhD in geography, with a thesis awarded by the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie, and as a former student of the Institute of European Studies in Brussels, I developed the concept of "new urban diplomacy", which enables cities to implement their local agendas internationally through active subsidiarity.Throughout my career, I have held key positions, including Secretary General of Atlantic Cities, where I managed over 100 European projects, promoting youth entrepreneurship and advancing women’s careers in maritime industries, among others. In parallel, I have served as an expert for various EU institutions. Today, I am part of the Team Europe Direct network, recognized as a speaker and expert by the European Commission.Since January 2022, I have been sharing my knowledge at Sciences Po Rennes, where I teach courses in Latin American geopolitics and international relations in Spanish, French, and English. My current research focuses on two main areas: the strategic autonomy of territories on the international stage and the analysis of illiberal dynamics in Central America. I have also shared my insights through conferences for institutions such as COP21 and the European Economic and Social Committee, and I frequently contribute to media outlets.As a multilingual scientific author, I offer written contributions and presentations on topics such as regional policy and paradiplomacy, as well as critical analyses of international relations. Whether for conferences, research projects, or press publications, I am always seeking new opportunities to share and enhance my perspective on global and territorial political dynamics.
