While it may seem unconventional, this job taught me invaluable lessons about customer service and sales. Located near the border, the majority of our customers were foreigners either on their way home or heading for vacation. I took it upon myself to go above and beyond, offering to fill up their gas, check oil levels, and suggesting they grab snacks and coffee so they could maximize their break. I became known as the go-to person for all their automotive needs, selling the most cans of oil and windscreen washers in the process.Building on this foundation, I later joined MG-SOFT, a globally recognized supplier of SNMP, SMI, and other network management applications. This position was highly demanding as it required providing customers with detailed descriptions of products and tailoring solutions to meet their specific needs. Through effective communication and persuasive skills, I successfully sold these products to businesses and individuals worldwide.In my most recent role as a telephone market researcher, I honed my ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Although there was no direct sales involved, the task of convincing financial executives to dedicate 15-20 minutes of their valuable time to answer intricate financial questions was no small feat.
