After earning my BSBA degree in Accounting in 1994, I landed in the accounting department of a mid-sized printing company in Philadelphia. A short time later, I began my career as a Business Analyst at Fiserv LeMans. In this role, I worked closely with clients and software engineers, writing functional specifications for product modifications/custom enhancements within the auto leasing product, and performing QA testing. I also developed product documentation and facilitated on-site training to clients around the country. Upon relocating to Pittsburgh in 1999, I transferred to Fiserv SourceOne as a Senior Business Analyst doing similar work within the Retail Loans product. Some of the largest projects I had worked on at Fiserv SourceOne were the Y2K software updates and Credit Bureau reporting/compliance modifications.In 2008, I paused my career to be home full-time with my three children. During that time, I became an active leader in serving my community. I served in roles such as the Chairperson and Treasurer of the Southminster Early Learning Academy Board of Directors, Treasurer and Recording Secretary of the Jefferson Elementary PTA, and Head Coach for Girls on the Run. Additionally, I served in our church as an Elder, Deacon, and Christian Educator. It was a very rewarding time, as I was able to be home with my children while also honing in on valuable leadership and interpersonal skills.In 2016, I returned to work within our community as the Director of Christian Education and Children's & Family Ministries at our church. This role allowed me to sharpen my skill-set relative to writing, project management, creative problem solving, and public speaking. Some highlights of my time there include organizing/facilitating Vacation Bible School for 150+ kids each summer, writing/delivering a children's sermon each week, and creatively using technology to adapt all programming to platforms such as Zoom during the COVID-19 pandemic.In 2022, I began working as a Chiropractic Assistant, which allowed me to explore in more depth the areas of health & wellness, which I am passionate about. This was a hands-on role with patients in which I performed various testing/therapies, encouraged fitness/health/wellness strategies, and performed various administrative tasks - an educational and rewarding opportunity!Presently, I am excited to be renewing my career in a challenging full-time position. My banner features a photo I took of the Grand Canyon, which I chose because I am looking forward to the peaks, valleys, and beauty of the journey ahead!
