About Tamara Johnston

Developing games since 2003, I started out as a 3D artist and animator, quickly growing into a technical artist, then producer, and am currently a senior program manager. I have an intimate knowledge of the full game production pipeline and have worked directly with various proprietary game engines. I have a passion for serving others, which drives my coordination and organizational skills. I've helped to grow and train teams of artists, as well as technical artists and junior producers. As a Producer, I've led small to mid-sized in-house, off-shore and remote teams of engineers, mathematicians, quality analysts, technical artists, artists, animators and audio engineers to produce dozens of games from concept to completion, many of which were mobile and AAA casino games. In my free time, I enjoy meditation and volunteer work, as well as playing mobile, console and PC games. I feel that a person's attitude is more valuable than their skill set, and I hire people based on their character.Additionally, through many years of volunteer service in various communities, I've developed a wide array of skills, including: project planning and coordination; community outreach; inventory and sales; data logging; filing; hospitality and care of the elderly; educating children; event setup; creating flower arrangements and garlands; repairing, sanding, staining and/or painting furniture and structures; cooking and serving community meals; cleaning facilities and parks; farming and gardening; playing musical instruments and singing. This has helped to develop humility, selflessness and warmth in my demeanor.
