I am a seasoned leader with exceptional communication and management skills displayed throughout my 20 plus years of experience in university collaborations, building and managing strategic partnerships, survey research, project management, leadership development, people management and training design/implementation. I am an experienced University Collaborations Leader with strong relationships in North Carolina and nationwide. As a proud North Carolina Central University alumna, I have the privilege of being the inaugural Relationship Manager for RTI’s strategic partnership with the university. Leaning on the success of the NCCU-RTI partnership, I co-directed and pioneered the strategic framework to partner and engage with several other HBCUs across the nation to create mutually beneficial opportunities between the universities and RTI.As a champion for diversity, racial and health equity, and inclusion, I am committed to ensuring that inclusive practices are represented within the workplace and regionally in the Triangle and North Carolina underserved communities. I am passionate about doing everything I can to help #ChangeTheWorld and emulate inclusive behaviors in my daily interactions. My wide range of research experience includes managing and providing senior level support and consultation on numerous large-scale education, health and social science research projects, in addition to the development support of research proposals and study design. I’ve led programs and teams of project leaders who were responsible for the oversight and development of research projects.
