As a founding member of this award winning Digitial Transformation for Frontline Policing in Queensland, my role was to oversee all the program level governance, planning, assurance, reporting and controls, human resource structures, risk management and business case management. This Program was world-leading in terms of the apps developed to enable the rollout of over 5000 iPads for frontline officers. This highly innovative program utilised a hybrid delivery model including elements of AGILE, MSP and Prince2. Since its completion, the Program has been recognised by both Apple (internationally) and Telstra (nationally) in the mobile computing field. Previous to my governance responsibilities, I was a Senior Project Manager overseeing the delivery of key infrastructure components including a HADR environment and a QPS mobile access solution to support the G20 Summit held in Brisbane.

Delivering a department-wide upgrade of a Managed Operating Environment (MOE) based on a customised 64bit instance of Windows 7 and Office 2010 with a significant hardware replacement program. This project included upgrades for the Queensland Ambulance, Queensland Fire and Rescue Service and Corrective Services fleet of 9000 computers at 600+ sites across Queensland. As a result of my comprehensive stakeholder engagement and change management strategy, this highly complex project to upgrade 95% of the computers in the Community Safety agencies was delivered on time and within budget with minimal disruption to key business services.

This program involves the migration of IT infrastructure and systems for a portfolio of 9 state government agencies to 1DEEDI as a result of the last MOG.

My work with Nehta (National Electronic Health Transition Authority) was focused on the development of standard sets of Clinical Terminology (CT) within Pathology, Discharge Summary and Emergency Department contexts. I have project managed many releases of terminology in these domains for use in clinical settings across Australia. I've also managed several internal projects to design and refine project management processes and standards in Nehta.

As a result of Suncorp’s merger with the Promina Group in 2006; I was initially engaged in planning the delivery of ICT synergies across Suncorp’s newly acquired financial brands including Vero and AAMI. This project implemented a single, innovative technology platform for what has become one of the largest general insurance companies in Australia and New Zealand. My subsequent role as a Change Manager was focused on stakeholder engagement, training design, communication planning and scheduling. I was involved in relationship management with the Promina businesses according to Suncorp's transitioning models and organisational change goals.

This role has enabled me to utilise practical planning and project management skills on one of the largest WoG ICT projects to create a single SAP solution for Finance and HR. My contributions included advanced schedule analysis and planning for infrastructure development. My other duties involved risk mitigation and chairing project manager forums to enable proactive issues management within the SAP Infrastructure division.

As a member of the Information Systems and Portfolio Services Branch I performed technical IT support for Treasury officers. I also managed a 9 month project to successfully implement a customised application that enabled better tracking of IT related jobs, statistical reporting for strategic management purposes, asset and license monitoring across the Treasury department.
