Primary responsibilities included managing and updating all social media accounts for the venue and multiple associated brands, engaging with the online community, and live coverage of events. After events, updated the blog and Flickr, as well as shared about the event on appropriate platforms. Designed marketing deliverables and graphics including magazine ads, billboards, and digital ads. Kept digital listings of the venue up to date. Engaged with designers, planners, and vendors online.

I was selected for a 6 month cohort as a community host for the Buffer Slack community where digital marketers are able to engage with and learn from others in their field, all over the world. Members can ask questions, answer questions, soundboard, and share information with each other. As a community host I greeted new members and connected them to the topics and other members, hosted social media mastermind discussions, and worked on unique projects inspired by my passions to benefit the community.

Set up an in-space artist’s studio and created for within the makerspace while working on commissions. Completed various art projects in the community. Volunteered with social media, event planning, and scheduled classes. Taught art & cosplay classes.

Oversaw uniformity of franchises, executed advertising campaigns, and designed marketing deliverables. Built social media presence from the ground up; continually developed and maintained all platforms. Initiated set up of new franchisees’ internet presence. Managed ongoing updates and training for managers & franchisees. Incorporated social media campaigns into business model to drive brand awareness & increase traffic to social media outlets. Also taught painting classes and summer camps, and ran one of the local studios.
