It Manager
• Currently leading a mainframe application development team with a mix of business and systems resources supporting the claims adjudication system and the pharmacy bi-directional process, as well as lead the consultants for all of the claims applications. The team supports all phases of a project from solutioning , analysis, development, unit testing, defect resolution to user acceptance testing. We work closely with the regression testing team, the test cycle team, and the parallel testing team to ensure successful implementations. • The teams consist of a mix of multiple levels of developers, multiple levels of business technical analysts, consultants along with two team managers. • Handle mentoring, training, work load scheduling for the team as well as staying involved in the projects that are assigned to my team to ensure we implement efficient, timely, and quality builds that meet the needs of the customer that are within budget. The teams focus on multiple projects at a time with multiple overlapping releases. • Work closely with the business team, architects, and other domains to ensure that the end result solution meets the needs of the customer.
