    Tamara served as the Chief Executive responsible for all finances, operations, external relations, fundraising, human resources and facilities management. Tamara was chief spokesperson and representative of The James J. Hill Center at key civic meetings and community events and as a member of the City of Saint Paul Full Stack committee bringing her expertise in events, place-making and providing support of growing businesses. Tamara led a team of 13 full-time staff members by increasing the impact of mission related programming of the organization. She developed and implemented an all new programming model in 2017 with a focus on ensuring equity and inclusion of all communities. Tamara led strategic partnerships with other cultural organizations to host concerts, theater, book readings and lectures.Tamara oversaw a $1.2M elevator renovation from 2016-2017. After securing a grant from the Minnesota Historical Society, Tamara implemented and led a critically needed Historic Structure Report to completion from 2017-2019.Tamara and the team created and activated signature programming including: Co.Starters at the Hill, Idea Academy, Meet the Experts, Taking the Lead, Culture in the Columns and Business Research Boot Camp.Key Metrics: Increased mission related impact from 1600 -->11,600+ between 2017 and 20182019 was on track to surpass the number of individuals and programs offered.Working in conjunction with the Board of Directors it was determined a new course of action was necessary for the long-standing organization which led to the facility closing to the public in July 2019.
