In addition to handling Social Services for all of our resident's, I am also responsible for one of the six "Neighborhoods" in our new facility. In addition to managing the staff of the Neighborhood, each Neighborhood Coordinator is responsible for meeting the following needs of residents in the assigned Neighborhood.(1) all meals meet the household dietary and social goals(2) all residents are engaged in activities which meet their interests and needs (3) the household becomes a true community in which all residents receive emotional, psychological and spiritual support through resident-centered care and shared activities of living (4) household work schedules are developed and maintained in a timely manner(5) the household operates within its budget and all administrative requirements.

I handle all aspects of the nursing home social service requirements at St. Margaret's Nursing Home.
