I've set up many measuring equipments as a calibration engineer, including the softwares as well, learned some rudimentary mySQL database handling and some macro programming. I was also responsible for keeping track of calibration status and viability of gages using the MSA guidlines (stability and GR&R studies). After a while I was also assigned to leading a chemical testing laboratory on the incoming material side due to my background in chemistry, where I was supervising testing and reporting incoming material, handle non-conformances, communicating with suppliers and enforcing and/or developing testing procedures.Later on during my work as a product test laboratory leader I developed strong excel skills, including learning VBA, which helped in reporting, creating CoAs. I also kept CSRs up to date, supported R&D in developing new products, worked together with production and engineering teams in handling non-conformances, helped other plants' laboratories in testing and interpreting data, presented calibration and laboratory systems during customer and IATF audits. I participated in transitioning and implementing SAP ERP. After the transition, I became a power user, maintaining transactions for various departments.I developed an interest in programming based on my experiences and saw the utility and opportunities to use it as a powerful problem solving tool, and decided to dive deeper into programming.I've learned programming languages (Javascript, Typescript), FE and BE web frameworks (Angular/Ionic, NestJS), database handling (MySQL,TypeORM, PostGres, NoSQL), got familiar with concepts like OOP and REST. I got to work in a team of developers on a web application using version control (Git), utilizing agile project mangement using JIRA and SCRUM. I also participated in an open source project where Ive learned about and practiced various tools and concepts (NgRx state management, E2E testing with cucumber/playwright, docker containerization etc), and had projects of my own where I learned about and practiced different frameworks (VueJS/.NET MVC) and cloud based services (google cloud service run/artifact registry, firebase hosting/storage/real-time database).Accumulating a diverse background and experiences, Im looking forward to my next challenges.
