As a consultant, I evaluate, design, and develop intra-logistics systems, like warehouses and production line feeding systems. I believe in continuous and cooperative development of thoroughly analysed systems. My goal is to support my partners in objective decision making. Amongst other tools, most of my project based on computer simulation models in Plant Simulation environment to: - evaluate the effectiveness and the bottle-neck of the actual system - validate the model and the alternative solutions for further development - evaluate and compare alternative solutions with objective KPIs on the same basis - optimize system parametersAs senior lecturer, I teach students on the field of logistics, computer simulation, logistics infrastructure, logistics equipment and warehousing. I am mentoring several students in their own researches and diploma thesis. As Committee member of Specialized College of Transportation Engineering and Logistics my goal is to support active and motivated students in continuous learning on the field of logistics. Together with our colleagues we organise industrial visits, invite experts for roundtable discussions and mentoring students to increase their industrial experiences.I wrote my PhD thesis on the field of warehousing logistics, which is strongly connected to the warehousing industry. I developed storage location assignment and evolutionary order picking routing algorithms in Plant Simulation environment, which considering the pallet loading factors. During my research, I took into consideration several industrial observations, measurement and best practices. During my researches my goal is to support the industry with scientifically proved valuable solutions.
