I began working with ZH Commissioning in February of 2014. In the beginning, I used my experience and skills in graphic design to create a professional brand identity for ZHCx, ensuring the Owner's passion for Building Commissioning shined in their marketing materials. Next, I used my organizational skills and creative thinking to develop an online system that allows members of ZHCx to save time on office tasks such as project checklists and reporting. This directly allowed the team more time to work on project tasks, enhancing productivity and quality. As I have been working on project sites, I have developed knowledge in Lighting and Lighting Controls. I have used my high attention to detail and proficient organization skills and applied them to lighting and lighting control testing. This includes design reviews, sensor layout and set up, centralized system programming, and system commissioning. I will continue to educate myself in both lighting and HVAC commissioning by working with the commissioning authorities at ZHCx to get hands-on experience, while taking classes on the subject.
