Sales & Engineering Support

• Reporting to the Managing Director.• Responsible for technical feasibility of offers / orders and approval of customer specific options.• Managing two divisions of R&D, tooling design & manufacturing and the rest of the team (26 persons).• Ensures that the targets will be met controlling KPI´s and implement countermeasures.• Voice of AAC in all customer relations from the engineering perspectives. • Ensures that offers and orders are processed upon the priorities.• Ensures that the sales administration manager receives the required technical support.• Sets target both for tender engineering team and sales team and ensure their achievement.• Acts as partner of order management to define if an order is technically feasible or not.• Defines new development within platform / customization group according to sales product request.• Working normally with CAD software CATIA V5 R17, Solid Edge.• Investigate all casting analysis with the casting simulation software MAGMASOFT V5.• Managing the design and manufacturing the finishing tools and press dies tools.• Provide the timing plan for the prototype tool, series tool, safe launch and S.O.P process. • Responsible with continuously revising, validating & improving designs with the customer to reduce Scrap and increase profitability.• Responsible for all design and technical meetings with the customers by attending four regular meetings per year in Germany and Italy. • Assuring the development of the brake calipers for the most European automotive industryExamples :- o Continental Teves – Germany.o BREMBO – Italy, Poland. o VALEO – France, Turkey and Italy. o V.W Group as first tier supplier – Germany.o GM – Germany.o BMW as first tier supplier – Germany.o Mercedes Benz – Germany.Performance indicator:• Number of the new products added to the product portfolio / year.• Increasing yield percentage quarterly.• Scrap rate less than 5%.• Reduction in the Tooling cost.

• Cross functional team leader for supplier development tasks with the objective to create new approved product suppliers and reduce the cost structure for the turbine.• Study cost breakdown for all supplied parts for the product and make a plan or suggestion about it.• Work closely and communicate all efforts with the sourcing responsible in our Spanish partner.• Study and lead effort for localized all parts for the turbine.• Searching for process improvement in the supplier premises in order to reduce manufacturing price.• Assure with the Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to complete supplier qualifications as required.• Ensuring that the assigned supplier has the capability and process to the required quality and price.• Work closely with purchasing, logistics, Manufacturing, Engineering and SQE to eliminate roadblock and communication barriers that may affect quality, price and delivery requirements.• Drive plans and facilitate decisions through cross functional supplier stakeholder team.• Serve as primary link to product suppliers under review; represent the “Voice of El sewedy”.• Effective communicator with the other department.Performance indicator : • Reduction in product component cost to the targeted value.• Number of new approved supplier for products every year.• Reduction in purchasing budget for the product components.• Reduction in landed cost and logistics cost.• Increasing the localization percentage.

• Reporting to the Engineering Manager.• Organize the work activities by Leading 3 engineers , 3 supervisors and 17 technicians• Investigate the product drawing to determine the required specifications (Material, parting line, weight, tooling cost,).• Responsible for designing the required tools so that the products would meet the customer properties "dimensions, shape & geometry".• Provide the timing plan for the tool manufacturing process per each individual project. • Create accurate 3D model of the product with the CAD/CAM software.• Investigate any technical problem with the tools.• Identifying the material requirements requested by the department.Achievements:• Design and manufacturing an unlimited tools and core boxes products especially brake discs and brake drums for (VW, Land Rover, HONDA, TRW and EGA).• Design & manufacturing a lot of tools of Brake systems especially "Holders, Calipers and Housings for Conti TEVES that used for VW, IVECO, Land Rover and GM ".• Using MAGAMSoft software for simulating the design and get the optimum results.

starting this carrer with title technical office section head till April 2005 , then promoted to be technical office manager at April 2005 up to January 2009 with the following activites .• Organizes all the work & activities in the workshop (leading 2 engineers, 3 Foreman & 20 labors).• Investigate & analyze the customer drawings or sample to determine the parting lines, material, part weight, machining operations.• Responsible for Design the tools & Core Box so that final products would meet the dimensions, shape, & geometry requested by the customer.• Responsible for manufacturing and maintaining tools & core-boxes. • Responsible for continuously revising, validating, & improving designs to reduce scrap and to increase yield.• Receiving & discussing the production plan from planning department.• Submits on weekly & monthly basis to the (Production Manager) with a performance Report for the technical department versus plan. • Applying training courses that enhance the technical team performance.Achievements:• Design and manufacturing an un limited number of tools for brake discs and brake drums for (Land Rover, DAEWOO Egypt, NISSAN, TOYOTA, ISUZU, SUZUKI, LADA, and Fiat).• Design and manufacturing all tools for valve bodies and butterfly valves for Danfoss Socla, France.• Design and manufacturing tools for manhole covers of REHAU, Germany.• Damping Mass for CABI, Italy Casted & Machined Parts (Used with RENULT, France).• Local Customers (Allwiler Alfarid, MCMC, Crystal Assfour Crystal, etc…).• Design a complete detailed Layout of the whole firm. • Duplicate the productivity of Lanos brake disc by a new idea of design.
