I have been in public education for nearly 30 years. During my transition from working with teenagers to working with adults, I have completed my Master's Degree and currently working on my Doctorate in Education. I have successfully planned and led adult learning opportunities to guide teacher growth and development in aligning standards, creating standards-based units, writing assessments, and implementing researched-based practices in instruction. Additionally, I have effectively collaborated with, led, and guided schools to utilize data driven decisions in designing and implementing their strategic plan to improve student learning. My knowledge and understanding of research-based practices is quite extensive and my most current roles have been coaching teachers to implement strategies to improve student engagement and achievement.
