Throughout the month, I drove sales with occasions such as our Teenage Ninja Turtle Pizza party, Harry Potter's birthday, and Star Wars Day. Over three years, I organized more than 90 events for Get Pop Cultured, along with storytimes and character breakfasts. Many events required crafting costumes and decor that fit within a small budget.In 2009, I was an independent contractor for a trivia/karaoke hosting company in Charlotte, North Carolina. Here, I created music trivia games and hosted them for local bars and businesses to drive sales. I created a fun atmosphere with music and personality to bring customers in on a weekly basis. Public speaking became second nature to me.As of 2014, I have published 6 fictional books under the pen name of Mira Day.
