My parents and my brother were/are entrepreneurs, so I have a lot of experience in the dynamics of a family business. My life has been influenced by professional women in business. In my personal life, my mom, my Aunt Karen, my Aunt Janice, my Aunt Cheryl and my cousin Kim and my friend Lisa, are all professionals in their perspective businesses. I learned my professional style, communication style, drive and confidence from these beautiful women. Professionally, as a member of TEC (now Vistage) and WPO (Women Presidents Organization) I've met and been mentored by so many incredible men and women. From strategic thinking to friendship, the tools and experiences I've lived and learned have made a strong and positive impact on me.More about me: I'm naturally super organized. I've organized everything from databases & systems, to record-keeping and project initiatives. Kraig Kramers said "What gets measured gets done" and after learning from Gino Wickman, "live in a 90 day world" to keep your goals and tasks advancing nicely each and every day, I'm even better at the art of prioritizing. And, I'm a subject matter expert in color, print, direct-mail and design aesthetics. I'm a boy mom (my son is 14 years old and he loves to play baseball and video games). The business began as a printing company with duplicator, small presses and small bindery services serving small and medium local Phoenix businesses. As the Phoenix Metropolitan area grew, so did the customer base. As the customers grew, more equipment and capabilities were added to the business. The craftsmanship of the printing organization was noticed by larger corporations and advertising agencies which led the family to purchase multi-million dollar printing presses and bindery equipment. The family business grew into one of the largest printing companies based in Arizona. I worked all roles in the family business from receptionist, bookkeeping, sales, marketing, production and HR until she took the reigns as President negotiating equipment and real estate acquisitions, setting strategy for the growth and profitability of the company and act as account representative to large client accounts.
