Design of brake components – Disc, drum, brake pipes, flex hose, vacuum hose and parking brake cable based on the technical and packaging requirements with considering manufacturing feasibility 3. Design of mounting brackets – EHCU (ABS & ESP), eVacuum pump4. Drawing preparation of brake components using GD&T and Review of supplier drawings 5. Articulation data preparation of flex hose to define hose length considering suspension & steering conditions and physical validation in vehicle. 6. DMU packaging management of brake components 7. Interface sheet preparation of brake parts and design review with cross functional team for packaging sign off 8. Product lifecycle management of brake components - ECO & ECR release for TKO and various build stages (VRS, EL & SOP) 9. BOM preparation for Brakes system and management of EBOM, MBOM & PBOM alignment in PLM 10. Preparation of DFMEA for Brakes system 11. Preparation of RFQ, Technical sign Off, FETE document preparation and alignment with supplier 12. Tolerance stack-up study for sub assembly 13. Benchmarking for design concepts and VA/VE activities on brake components using A2mac and Tear Down Analysis. 14. Conducting weekly supplier meeting to review PPAP activities, documents signoff . 15. Design support for Mitsubishi Triton & Outlander (Brake pipes, Oil pan, Stabilizer bar & Fuel tank) 16. Designing 3D based on manufacturability and process capability. 17. Develop 2D drawing based on design specs, following general design principles and GD&T 18. VA/VE activities on components like oil pan & fuel tank. 19. Providing the reports of Design Concept study and Clearance study. 20. Benchmarking study and report generation from A2mac for Chassis & Engine parts.
