I am the Concessions Manager at The Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Ga. I lead a team of 80-100+ direct reports depending on the season. I started as a Barback at The Fox Theatre and was moved quickly from Barback to Warehouse Supervisor to Assistant Manager and finally to Concessions Manager. When I first began my currently role there were no systems in place. I have created Standard Operating Procedures, Daily Checklist, Inventory reporting, ordering and more. To help my team keep up with all the activities happening I created website portals for each team to aid them in the work they do each day. - Experience working productively in teams, as well as pro-active, self-directed work- Experience leading and managing teams of 5 - 100+ direct reports using positive motivation, needed information, transparency, inclusion and promoting group decisions and ideas- Experience with Inventory control, ordering par levels, stocking, rotating product, setting up receiving steps as well as opening and closing systems.- Experience moving large teams of 100+ direct reports over to new systems, creating training material and info documents to help direct reports utilize the system and answer their questions.- Learn new systems quickly and adapt well to consistent change - over the last year I have helped the team move from Paycor to Paycom and also changed our team communication moving from "When I Work" to Microsoft Teams.I am also a dedicated drummer who has been creating, rehearsing, performing, recording,touring, and promoting music with original bands for three decades in addition todrumming for cover bands and various musical productions in NYC, Vermont, Florida,and North Dakota.In the past I previously lived in Brooklyn, NY since 2001, and before that in Vermont, North Dakota, and Florida. I have worked in a wide variety of professions, including software/game QA and testing, and web design; restaurant manager, server, bartender; events and music booking and production; swimming instructor, coach and lifeguard; and even root beer brewer and distributor. I have also studied percussion for over three decades, and have played professionally and recorded with dozens of bands since 1990.
